I received the second part of my prize today for "winning" the remus_draco Christmas challenge (I was of course, the only one who entered ;)), a gorgeous illustration of the story by ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) atratuslupin. I'm still boggling at it. The detail is amazing, this girl is extremely talented!! I feel very fortunate to have this piece attached to a story that I wrote.
Of course I added the illustration to the story itself, but it would be a crime not to double post =)

Pairing: Draco Malfoy/Remus Lupin
Rating: I think I’ve gone and written a G fic. Now how did that happen? ;)
Summary: A few years after the war, an unlikely pair of lonely souls find each other on Christmas Eve.
Word Count: ~2,750
Disclaimer: I hope no one is actually “labouring under the delusion” that I am in any way affiliated with J.K. Rowling. I just like to play with her naked characters *grin*.
Notes: This is a response to the remus_draco Christmas challenge: You are to write a holiday themed Remus/Draco fanfiction. There are no limits on rating, or anything of the sort. Although, some how you have to include mistletoe, one of the characters (Remus or Draco) has to be referred to as Scrooge (name calling etc.) and well, hot chocolate.
I ended up "winning" the challenge (no one else entered ;)) and the prize was the gorgeous illustration by the wonderful and extremely talented atratuslupin that can be found at the end of the story.

Pairing: Draco Malfoy/Remus Lupin
Rating: R for language and imagery.
Summary: Professor Lupin thinks he knows why Draco refuses to face a Boggart in front of his peers. When he finds out the truth, he realizes that there is more to the spoiled boy than he had originally thought. Draco, in turn, discovers something in Remus that he had been searching for, but he knows that it cannot be reciprocated.
Warnings: Draco is thirteen years old in this story, but it’s mostly unreciprocated pre-slash, so nothing much to worry about. (There may be a smutty sequel brewing in my brain though =))
Word Count: ~13000

Notes: It used to make me laugh how often the sentence “he murmured a quick preparation spell” occurred in Harry Potter fic. So convenient this magic is! Then I got to thinking, what would happen if someone did a little more than murmur that spell, or better yet, used it as a weapon? This started as a very silly little fic and quickly turned into a PWP. I hope you enjoy it.

I am now in love with Cybele's Harry/Snape fic. Normally kinky fic feels forced to me and kinky for the sake of being kinky rather than hot, but "Something to Write On" and especially "Quills and Ink" somehow make it work while at the same time inventing a whole new use for magic. Thoroughly enjoyable indeed.
